Front Desk Receptionist

Receptionist

As a Receptionist, you act as a liaison between our customers and dealership personnel. You are responsible for seeking new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers as well as scheduling customers for service appointments.

Job Duties:

• Answer main telephone line and make sure calls are routed to the correct person/department. Take phone messages and ensure they are followed up with.
• Greet customers when they walk in the door.
• Schedule simple automotive services for the Service Department (including oil changes, tire rotations, recalls, etc.)
• Check email frequently throughout the day and respond immediately.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information as required by law.
• Update customer information in the DMS, CRM, and other programs as needed. This includes mailing address, email, telephone number changes, etc.
• Make sure customer loyalty points and redemptions are applied for loyalty customers. Add new customers to our loyalty program.
• Present our company to potential clients.
• Follow up on sales and service customers to make sure they are satisfied with their experience.
• Maintain files. Complete filing for sales and service departments. Clean up dead files.
• Work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors.
• Treating all members of the public in a courteous and non-discriminatory manor, and maintaining a professional demeanor while on the job.
• Maintain knowledge and ability to use common office machinery such as computer, copier, phone, calculator, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:

• Stand/Walk/Sit up to 100% of the work day.
• Bend/Stoop/Kneel/Crouch/Twist/Reach Occasionally.
• Use of hands to Rotate/Grasp/Grip frequently.
• Lifting: Up to 10lbs Occasionally.
• Carrying: Up to 10lbs Occasionally.

Work Environment:

• Primary duties to be performed in a typical office setting.
• Use of office equipment such as: computer, copier/printer, stapler, calculator, phone etc.
• Occasional need for walking outside.

Pay: From $16.28 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
