Front Desk Receptionist – Full-Time
- Greet and Check-in/Check-out patients
- Assist our patients and other visitors.
- Answering general questions regarding the offices
- Prepare new patient packets, MMJ registration as needed, & patient logs
- Review all forms filled out by patients for completeness
- Ensure all patients have an updated & signed opioid contract annually
- Collect co-pays & distribute receipts
- Review and update demographic and insurance information at every visit
- Ensure there is a photo of the patient on file
- Send referrals to different facilities: Send Demographics and script to the referred doctor & provide the patient with the details.
- Retrieve patient log from Medical Assistant/Schedule follow-up with complete procedure details.
- Update appointment types as needed
- Distribute urine sample cups to patients with printed demographic sheet
- Communicate with the Authorization Department regarding add-on procedures
- Document NO SHOWs & reschedule accordingly: Contact patient to advise about missed appointment & assist with new appointment
- Scan & file all patient documents: new patient packets, MMJ forms, patient logs, medical records & prescriptions
- Keep lobby & restrooms clean, organized & stocked
- Open and close batches
- FedEx batches within a week
- Answer calls from the call center and delegate tasks
- Confirming appointments
- Uploading EFORCSE to patients' charts
- Sort and upload faxes to the patients' charts/send them to the correct recipient.

Salary: From $18.50 per hour
