Visionist has an exciting new opportunity for a Front Desk Receptionist at its headquarters in Columbia, MD. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will greet guests, support multiple administrative teams, assist in organizing employee activities, and gain exposure to a wide range of office related functions. Responsibilities:
  • Manage visitor check in/out, answer and/or direct incoming calls, process incoming/outgoing mail, and interact with employees, contractors, and guests to solve problems as they arise
  • Assist with facility needs including conference room schedules, office supply purchasing and inventory, and knowledgeably answer questions regarding facility related activities, policies, and programs
  • Perform a wide range of clerical and general office duties, to include maintaining confidential spreadsheets, databases, and documents
  • Prepare and distribute a variety of reports, graphs, tables, and charts through the collection of data from multiple sources
  • Additional duties may be assigned on a need-be basis

Requirements:
  • 1 to 3 years of office related experience preferred
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday 8 am to 4 pm
  • Experience providing a high level of customer service
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as preferred Database experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task while being detail-oriented
