Orlando Spine Studio is a growing leader in physical medicine and rehabilitation treatment services. We provide care to a large population of the East Orlando community and we pride ourselves on top quality patient specific treatments and customer service. Our treatment options we offer are Chiropractic, Lightforce XLi Deep Tissue Class 4 Laser, Physical Therapy, Massage Therapy, and Digital Radiology services. As a Front Desk Associate, you play a vital role in maintaining clear communication and understand between our patients and our clinical team to make sure all our patients feel respected with the highest level of customer service.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Ideally have one or more years of experience in a healthcare setting working directly with patients and communicating about appointment data.
- Must have strong communication skills that allow you to thrive in a high pace team focused environment.
- Must be able to utilize and be proficient with Microsoft, PDF editing, and our Electronic Health Record (EHR) softwares.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the scheduling process and ensure patients adhere to their prescribed plans of care to produce ideal outcomes.
- Verify patient benefits from insurance via our online provider portals or over the phone to ensure our treatment estimates are accurate and fair to all patients.
- Be a reliable point of contact within the clinic that all patients trust and seek out to answer their questions about scheduling and general office questions.
- Schedule and book appointments for patients with regards to chiropractic, physical therapy, deep tissue laser, and all other treatment options we offer.
- Provide assistance to patients seeking appointments by monitoring our incoming texts and emails to help with rescheduling and optimizing our clinicians schedules.
- Ensure that all necessary documents such as patient charts, medical records, etc., are prepared and/or completed, as requested by the client or physician.
- Help the office manager with purchasing supplies and inventory management for the clinic, when needed.
- Light end of day cleaning duties of your workspace within the clinic.
- Assisting with our social media sites and helping produce content for our brand on a weekly basis.
