Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Front Desk Clerk/Night Auditor. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services and ensuring the smooth operation of the Front Desk during the night shift.
Duties:
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Check-in and check-out guests, ensuring accuracy of information
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member
- Assist with reservations and room assignments
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions
- Perform night audit duties, including reconciling daily transactions and preparing reports
- Ensure the safety and security of guests by monitoring surveillance systems and following established procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the Front Desk area
Skills:
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred
- Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Multilingual abilities are a plus
- Knowledge of Front Desk operations and procedures
- Familiarity with night audit processes is an advantage
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions
