Why Front Desk?
The Front Desk team is a key proponent of our company and hotel’s culture. As the face of our team, the primary purpose of the Front Desk Associate is to ensure that guests have an excellent beginning-to-end hotel experience.
Work Performed:
The Front Desk Associate is tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments:
- Check-in and check-out guests;
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve guest issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner;
- Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, registration, shopping, dining, and travel directions;
- Handle cash and credit card transactions and process guest accounts;
- As needed, fulfill job responsibilities expected of a Concierge Attendant;
- Ensure proper disinfecting/sanitization/cleaning of the hotel Front Desk, lobby, and administrative office;
- Print and distribute Daily Event Sheet, door signs, reader board signs, key card items, etc.;
- Fax, make copies, and arrange shipping and receiving of packages for guests, along with other services of the Business Center;
- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to management.
- Ensure the safety and security of guests through reporting any safety hazards that may pose a threat to guests and follow proper hotel key control procedures;
- Any and all other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.
Qualifications:
- Required Experience: Professional customer service experience
- Physical: Ability to lift, pull and push up to 50 pounds regularly, Ability to bend and squat repeatedly, Ability to walk and stand for duration of scheduled shift
- Availability: Flexible to working days, early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
