SalaryOur busy Optometry practice is currently seeking a full-time Front Desk team member. We are a well-established and growing practice that is looking for someone with the skills and personality to serve the needs of our patients. We provide complete eye health and vision exams, medical eye care including treatment of eye infections, glasses, and contact lenses. We also provide consultation and management for a number of eye surgeries.
Job description:
- Answering patient phone calls and responding to voicemails and emails
- Scheduling appointments and collecting patient demographic information
- Charging patient for materials and services rendered
- Researching patient eligibility with insurance and filing for services and materials
The perfect candidate will have:
- A high school diploma/GED
- Interest in cross-training to other areas within the office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Technical skills
- Dependability
- Organizational skills
