The ideal candidate must have a positive attitude, excellent people skills, and preferably bilingual in English/Spanish. Great communications skills are essential as you are the face of the office and first person patients meet.
Qualifications:
- Basic computer skills required
- High school diploma/GED
- Provide exceptional customer customer service
- Greeting and welcoming patients to office
- general knowledge of administrative practices
- Great telephone etiquette
- Likes to have fun whiles making positive impact on patients lives
Responsibilities
- Performing general officer duties such as answering phones, filing, faxing, and photocopying
- Scheduling all appointments such as follow ups, rescheduling, or canceling when needed
- Assisting patients with documents that need to be filled out
- Preparing patients charts and schedules
- Communicating with medical insurance providers verifying patients coverage and copays
- Verifying methods of payment and collecting required payments at time of service
