Job Description

We are currently looking for a Motion Graphics Designer / Editor who can create visually interesting video content with a strong sense of style and storytelling. The ideal candidate has some professional experience (1-5 years) in digital design and strong technical and creative skills. He or she must be highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and strong computer/software skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Edits client content while maintaining overall brand identity and image
• Provides a demo reel
• Maintains edit suite equipment and software
• Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong Adobe After Effects skills, ideally with demonstrable experience in Motion Graphics
• 1-5 years of experience in digital design
• Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator skills
• Strong editing experience in Premiere Pro CC
• Trained in design with an understanding of typography, color, composition, movement and layout, pacing, and storytelling
• Strong creative thinking skills, exhibiting a range of varied styles and techniques
• Able to create high quality content from a creative brief or concept with short deadlines
• Must have a good understanding of video formats, compression techniques, and format requirements/constraints
• Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail in graphics, layout, and typography to maintain brand integrity
• Able to absorb creative direction while bringing unique ideas to each project
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, balancing time constraints while maintaining quality
• Stay current with new technologies and techniques to deliver cutting edge work
• Have an understanding of brands and of producing work of a suitable style
• Able to work independently as well as closely with the creative team
• Highly organized and pay great attention to detail
