Job Description:

As a Lab Technician at AFI, you will play a crucial role in the development, testing, and quality assurance of our premium fragrances. You will be responsible for ensuring that every creation meets the highest standard for a variety of unique customer requirements. We are seeking a diligent, detail-oriented, Lab Technician to join our team and contribute to our fragrance creation process.

Key Responsibilities:

· Sample Preparation: Prepare fragrance samples based on formulations provided. You must meet the daily quota of 400 pours per 8-hour shift (53.3 pours per hour)

· Documentation: Maintain detailed records to contribute to the development of fragrance database

· Equipment Maintenance: Support Lab Technicians in operating and maintaining laboratory equipment.

· Inventory support: Assist in lab inventory, ensuring the availability of materials and supplies.

· Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment.

Requirements:

· High School diploma or equivalent

· Previous lab experience, especially in fragrance or cosmetics, is highly desirable, but not mandatory.

· Strong attention to detail and precision in sample preparation

· Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

· Ability to read and understand documents such as safety rules, maintenance instructions, and operating procedures.

· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

· Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Commitment to safety protocols and best practices in a laboratory setting.

· Ability to sit for long periods of time.

· Ability to bend, climb, and lift frequently.

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds if necessary.

The hours are 8:00pm-4:30am with 30 minutes for lunch. Looking for a long term employee. Starting pay $22 per hour with an evaluation after 90 days.
