It is a groundbreaking time for volleyball in the US with our historic triple Olympic Gold medals in Women's Indoor, Beach and Sitting Volleyball. Volleyball is already the #1 most played girls' youth sport. There are 38M current and former players today. Of major sports, it's the only one that is women-first (~90% of players are female). But the volleyball market has been almost entirely missed by traditional sports investors, brands, and media.
The Role:
The FP&A Analyst role is a unique opportunity to be part of the success of the LOVB Finance team. This fully remote role will be responsible for planning and forecasting, budgeting, executing key financial analysis and modeling and supporting accurate financial reporting while helping execute the LOVE vision and strategy. The FP&A Analyst will have a member of the finance team and will have oversight working across the entire organization, to include Accounting, Clubs, Club Recruiting, Pro, People, Marketing and others. This position reports to the Head of Finance.
Key Activities:
- Drive financial performance by developing operating and financial metrics, analyzing results and trends to create impactful insights, reporting results to executive leadership and key stakeholders, and improving forecasting and modeling accuracy.
- Own the financial operating model and budgeting.
- Build trusted and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
- Support annual and long-range financial planning, including the quarterly financial forecasting cycles by partnering with business owners to understand business change, getting key stakeholders aligned on material inputs, completing input models, loading systems, producing reporting, insightful analysis, contingency plans, operational recommendations, etc.
- Work on ad hoc financial projects and business cases across various departments to assess potential returns and risks.
- Create clear, accurate and concise reports.
- Produce analysis and insights supported by financials and logical assumptions.
- Manage and maintain budget in NetSuite or similar Business Intelligence (BI) systems.
Experience:
- 3+ years in Corporate Finance, Investment Banking or FP&A.
- Advanced Excel skills, including modeling and data analysis capabilities with proven success in building financial/forecasting models.
- NetSuite Planning and Budgeting and other BI reporting experience preferred.
- Experience with Powerpoint, Word, and Google Suite of products (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and the ability to present in front of stakeholders.
- A collaborator with strong communication, team building and interpersonal skills is important as our team is distributed remotely.
- Must be a positive, proactive, think-outside-the-box and organized team player.
- Detail-oriented with a sense of ownership around the work that is being done.
- Ability to think and work independently, with a solution-oriented mindset in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with complete confidentiality.

The annual base salary for this role is $75,000 - $85,000 plus our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level, among other things.
