Purpose of Position
The central hub of NetJets operations is the NetJets Flight Center, which acts as a contact center housing Strategic Operations, Owner Services, Dispatch, Maintenance, and more. These teams work together to ensure our Owners have exceptional travel experiences one flight at a time. The Flight Center Coordinator, Associate who reports to the Manager, Flight Center Continous Development will be a point of entry for the NJA Flight Center. The position will leverage rotational work during an 18-24 month schedule, allowing the employee to gain hands-on and applicable experiences within their host teams in two to four-month stints at a time. The Flight Center Coordinator, Associate will embrace a continuous learning culture as they look to maximize curiosity during their rotations, blending traditional classroom learning along with hands-on experiences. With the goal of furthering their career development in preparation for opportunities beyond the Coordinator, Associate role. The hands-on learning experience will be the differentiator to this role, as the focus will be on gaining true field experience while managing foundational work.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Procure supplemental lift from third-party charter providers when demand exceeds NetJets capacity
- Delivers exceptional experiences by coordinating all flight details from customer requests to third-party charter providers
- Maintains relationships between NetJets Operations and third-party private jet providers
- Acts as NetJets' representative to coordinate airport and FBO services necessary for the successful execution of NetJets' flights. Communicates with Airport Managers, FBO personnel, NetJets on-site representatives, and other outside vendors via phone and email to ensure that the needs of crew members, aircraft, and Owners are met such as hangar and de-ice. Responsible for arranging reservations, or special permission when required by the airport.
- Flight Following: monitors aircraft location; researches, documents, and updates trip information in NetJets scheduling software in a timely manner. Uses information to identify potential impacts, and logistics requirements.
- Attend regular continuous learning sessions throughout the year that build upon the initial classroom training experience and expand general business acumen as the Associate prepares for the transition post Associate experience.
