Position Overview
The Outreach & Enrollment Coordinatorprovides assistance to uninsured and underinsured community members and current patients with the health insurance enrollment process by providing support with the application process, follow-up, and building coverage awareness in the community.
General Responsibilities
- Provide enrollment assistance by completing coverage applications, gathering required documentation, and troubleshooting the enrollment process
- Follow-up with individuals regarding their health insurance enrollment process
- Track all data to ensure goals are achieved and community members are satisfied
- Collaborate with community organizations to help build coverage option awareness
- Assesses the patient’s social, emotional, financial, cultural and family situation as needed Distributed promotional outreach materials to patients, community members, and partner organizations
Qualifications
- High School diploma required
- Associates Degree in healthcare or business field preferred
- 2-3 years of health/social services experience preferred
- Windows-based computer experience required
