Position Type: Full time

Starting Pay Rate: $25-30 per hour DOE

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage all mechanical equipment including vehicles, trailers, UTV/ATV, Motorcycles, and bicycles
• Perform and/or schedule rolling maintenance on all mechanical equipment
• Maintain and organize all fleet documentation including registration and licensing
• Manage Samsara vehicle tracking application
• Transport equipment to Wildland Fire Incidents, Events, and Onalaska, WA station as needed
• Instruct and lead trainings on mechanical/vehicle equipment
• Collaborate with all divisions on equipment needs and projects
• Perform shop duties such as light construction, trailer or vehicle improvement projects, and mechanical maintenance of shop related equipment/fixtures
• Assist in station tasks: including cleaning, driving, building, lifting more than 50lbs, other general maintenance
• Assist Wildland, Transport, and Event division during orientation, try-outs, and deployment
• Cover second out Ambulance/ADA van at Oregon Station as needed. Including long distance driving.
• Have a good understanding of Office 365, Samara, Adobe, and filing systems.

ADDITIONAL ROLES & OPPORTUNITIES:

• Deploy to wildland fires to relieve fire personnel during their mandatory time off. Shifts are typically 2-4 days long, 16-hour days. Typical fire relief will be for Ambulance, Mobile Medical Base, UTV team, and Truck team. Pay at EMT rate of $450-$550 and Paramedic rate of $600-$700 per day while deployed.
• Cover event medical deployments in OR and WA
• Cover 24-hour shifts at AdvMed Washington station on the ambulance/sprint car
• EMT or Paramedic preferred. If not, willingness to train to minimum of EMR
