We are excited to be recruiting for a Facilities and Fleet Business ServicesProgram and Support Manager who will play a pivotal role in supporting the Division Manager and the Facilities and Fleet team, as well as many internal support departments across the City of Hillsboro and the community. This position oversees and contributes to critical areas such as Facilities and Fleet program budgets, programmatic operations, computer system operations and administrative management, process management, capital planning for end-of-life projects, and property management and leasing.The manager in this role will be responsible for mentoring and managing a team of 2-3 direct reports as well as leading other programmatic staff and areas of responsibility in our Facilities and Fleet division. The ideal candidate will have experience in Facilities and/or Fleet in portfolios similar to the City of Hillsboro along with a strong track record of providing exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervises and oversees staff, including assigning work and conducting performance evaluations; maintains a healthy and safe work environment.
- Assists with property management and leasing; provides customer service, troubleshoots problems, and resolves concerns.
- Administers and maintains department programmatic finance and budgeting.
- Evaluates and analyzes cost allocation and rate drivers.
- Performs lease costing and invoicing.
- Participates in capital planning with Facilities and Fleet team for equipment replacement programs.
- Provides high level project management and oversight for Operations and Maintenance projects.
- Administers CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management Systems) system; provides support, analytics, and internal customer technical support.
- Supports and implements Access Control control requests and systems; provides internal customer support.
- Oversees EV infrastructure budget management and provides project management support to assigned staff.
- Provides Superintendent and Maintenance Coordinator support for both Facilities and Fleet.
- Provides technical support and administration of systems and assigned programs: manages workflow, implements systems/program updates, provides training, troubleshooting and/or monitors and manages system interfaces.
- Assists with scope development for Facilities and Fleet service and construction contracts.

Acceptable Experience and Training
Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of experience related to Facilities and Fleet management, including 3 years of supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job. This position requires a valid driver's license and safe driving record.
