Schedule: 7:30AM-5:30PM M/F
Salary: $50,000-70,000 annually
Duties & Responsibilities
- Management of outside vendors, internal/external maintenance providers.
- Schedule and coordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs, ensuring that all vehicles are safe and compliant with DOT regulations
- Maintain detailed records of all fleet activity, including accidents and maintenance
- Prepare reports on fleet performance and activity for upper management
- Negotiate estimates with vendors and suppliers
- Communicate with the Warranty Department to money spent is needed
- Coordinate with the accounting department to arrange payment for services rendered
- Manage Truck Maintenance schedule to ensure services are completed on time
Skills
- Specialized Knowledge: MS Office, Transman or other Fleet Maintenance Software Utilizes Microsoft Excel and Word programs to prepare reports and analyze data.
- Ability to work under strict deadlines and multi-task in a face paced environment.
- High attention to detail; Strong analytical and problem solving skills: ability to problem solve in the moment.
- 2 years of Diesel and Mechanical knowledge is preferred within the last 10 years.
