Tractor Fleet Manager

Schedule: 7:30AM-5:30PM M/F

Salary: $50,000-70,000 annually

Duties & Responsibilities

• Management of outside vendors, internal/external maintenance providers.
• Schedule and coordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs, ensuring that all vehicles are safe and compliant with DOT regulations
• Maintain detailed records of all fleet activity, including accidents and maintenance
• Prepare reports on fleet performance and activity for upper management
• Negotiate estimates with vendors and suppliers
• Communicate with the Warranty Department to money spent is needed
• Coordinate with the accounting department to arrange payment for services rendered
• Manage Truck Maintenance schedule to ensure services are completed on time

Skills

• Specialized Knowledge: MS Office, Transman or other Fleet Maintenance Software Utilizes Microsoft Excel and Word programs to prepare reports and analyze data.
• Ability to work under strict deadlines and multi-task in a face paced environment.
• High attention to detail; Strong analytical and problem solving skills: ability to problem solve in the moment.
• 2 years of Diesel and Mechanical knowledge is preferred within the last 10 years.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
