The team delivers innovative product & solutions across Fixed Income, foreign exchange, money markets and commodities, as well as specialist research and risk management expertise. The business operates in all major financial hubs including London, New York, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore, Sydney, and Auckland.
Markets Technology is the technology partner to the Markets business and is responsible for all applications used by the business front to back. Our primary stakeholders are trading, sales, and operations.
We are looking for an Application Support Analyst with strong Fixed Income business knowledge and experience of the ION MarketView Platform to join our team in New York. The team are responsible for supporting the local Fixed Income and Foreign Exchange trading desks as well as providing additional cover for London.

Your key responsibilities are:
- Working directly with front office traders, salespeople, quants, analysts, and business managers to address issues they face with trading systems and tools.
- Configuration and support of Fixed Income trading applications including ION MarketView, Bloomberg, TradeWeb and YieldBroker.
- Providing additional support assistance to the Foreign Exchange desks.
- Participating in incident management and coordinating the resolution of complex issues with the global support teams.
- Working with global delivery teams to coordinate changes and releases.
- Direct engagement with business stakeholders in the Trading, Sales and eFICC teams.

What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Good understanding of Fixed Income products such as bonds and swaps pricing as well as yield curve construction.
- Hands on experience with bonds and swaps electronic trading, including platforms like Bloomberg, TradeWeb and YieldBroker.
- Strong hands-on experience of ION MarketView. Detailed knowledge of MMI, D2C & D2D Connectivity Gateways, TOMS, PXE, REFDATA and VMQ.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Someone who takes pride in their work and will complete tasks in a timely manner with minimum supervision.
- Ability to effectively interact closely with business stakeholders, including traders and quants.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills in a complex trading environment including pricing and trade capture issues.
- Constantly challenging and seeking ways to improve platform consistency and maintainability.
Other good to have knowledge, skills, and experience:
- Understanding of foreign exchange products and trading.
- Exposure to the development of electronic trading systems, ideally in Java.
- Linux experience including shell scripting and python scripting.
- Experience of using ServiceNow, Jira and Confluence.
- Experience of working across multiple time zones and locations.
- Value feedback as a way for you and the squad members to grow and learn.

The base salary range for this position is US$140,000 to US$150,000 plus bonus.
This range is determined by the job, location and level of expertise required for this specific role. The final salary offered will consider your capabilities, skills and knowledge.
