Job Summary:
Kodiak Fire Protection, Inc. is looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. This position will work on fire prevention and alarm systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain fire alarm systems; install fire detection and fire suppression systems; and mount fire suppression equipment, if required.
- Test, adjust, and maintain fire alarms; record test results; and maintain records of test results, as required.
- Perform routine maintenance on fire extinguishers, alarms, and other equipment; perform repairs on machinery or equipment if necessary.
- Maintain a clean work area; follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Provide technical support to field technicians as needed.
- Keep accurate records of time spent on job site, materials used, and materials delivered.
Required Skills:
- Ability to read technical documents such as manuals, schematics, or other materials that are in the language(s) spoken by the job location.
- Basic math skills including addition and subtraction.
- Ability to write simple instructions in English.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour
