Work You'll Do/Responsibilities

Provide financial operational accounting, analysis, reporting, and process improvement support to the client's Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) and/or associated mission organizations in one, or more, of the following service areas:

  • Financial Improvement and Audit Remediation (FIAR): Support Audit Remediation through continuous Financial Improvement of processes, internal controls, accounting, reporting, and governance to improve accuracy, accountability, transparency, and integrity in finance.
  • Digital Finance Operations: Sustain and optimize innovative digital finance solutions (i.e., data visualization, dashboarding, modeling, analytics, apps, RPA, AI, ML, and NLP) to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of budget and finance operations.
  • Financial Reporting: Maintain, enhance, and evolve dynamic dashboarding and financial reporting to incorporate data into budget execution and to improve financial management, analysis, and reporting across the enterprise.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Facilitate activities by tying financials to operations, deliver analytical insights into our clients' strategic plans, programs, and budgets, deliver transparency into execution, and drive data-based decision-making.

The Enterprise Operations as a Service (EOaaS) Finance Operations offering provides deep financial management and operations services to clients to operate and improve financial operations through innovation and automation by leveraging platform technologies such as ERPs, RPA, AI, ServiceNow, Salesforce.

Required Qualifications: 

  • 2+ years experience supporting financial statement audit and/or Audit Remediation through continuous improvement of processes, internal controls, accounting, reporting, and/or governance to improve the accuracy, accountability, transparency, and integrity of our client's finance operations.
  • 2+ years experience maintaining, enhancing, and evolving financial business and accounting business process to improve financial management, analysis, reporting, and Auditability across the enterprise.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. 
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role.
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. This may include overnight travel.
  • Expected to co-locate in your designated office/USDC location up to 30% of the time.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
  • Must live in a commutable distance to or be willing to relocate to one of the following Delivery locations: Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; Houston, TX; Philadelphia, PA

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education Preferred: Business Degree (e.g., accounting, finance, operations management, or related field)
  • Prior consulting experience in the Public Sector
  • Possess knowledge of and experience with accounting regulations and processes
  • Excellent attention to detail as well as strong oral, written, presentation, interpersonal, and client-facing skills.
  • Well-developed troubleshooting skills, ability to analyze details and synthesize "big picture" concepts, frequently working with incomplete or ambiguous data.
