Job Description
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Coordinate the annual budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with department heads to establish financial targets and performance metrics.
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior management, highlighting key trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage the external audit process and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to accounting systems and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Monitor cash flow and liquidity to ensure the company has adequate funds to meet its obligations.
- Stay informed about changes in accounting standards and regulations and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and guidelines.
- Support strategic initiatives and special projects as needed, providing financial expertise and analysis to drive decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with progressive leadership responsibilities.
- Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Experience with financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity and ethics, with a commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.
- Salary Ranges from $75,000 to $90,000 pending qualifications.
