ADS is a 33 year old full service Demolition and Abatement company. We specialize in removing Asbestos Lead and Mold from Commercial and Residential properties. We are seeking a Controller to become an integral part of our team! You will oversee financial activities and personnel as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate all financial activities and personnel including AP, AR, Invoicing, Vendor bill processing, certified payroll, payroll, month end, software etc.
- Set controls and budgets to mitigate risk and increase return on investments
- Standardize and maintain a system of accounting records and techniques. Enhance accounting and financial performance and operational decision-making throughout the company.
- Conduct internal audits to assess financial status
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
- Serve as primary contact for external auditors, excellent written and oral communication skills
Qualifications:
- 10 plus years in accounting management or other related fields
- Degree in accounting or finance, CPA a plus
- Fundamental knowledge of GAAP, QuickBooks, CRM - Pipedrive, MRP, ERP, Microsoft Office
- Strong leadership qualities
- Private Equity and Merger and Acquisition Experience
- Construction background is a plus.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
