This individual will be a key member of the corporate FP&A team supporting the development of critical financial models and analyses necessary to guide strategic business decisions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain financial model including income statement, balance sheet and cash flow for the annual budget, quarterly forecast, and five-year strategic plan ensuring quality, accuracy and thorough analytic review.
- Prepare financial analysis for board-level and executive meetings.
- Perform ad-hoc financial projects as needed (e.g. customer retention, product profitability analysis)
- Provide timely, relevant and accurate reporting & analysis of the financial results compared to historical, budgeted and forecasted results to facilitate decision-making.
- Work with the CFAO on special projects.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Financial modeling experience required.
- Knowledge of accounting and financial analysis gained through at least 3 years of experience.
- Experience with Private Equity backed companies a plus.
- Familiarity with SaaS software business strongly preferred; including key metrics, bookings, revenue recognition (ASC 606).
- Knowledge of Merger and Acquisition due diligence
- Working understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Exceptional Excel skills are required; familiarity with data query/data management tools extremely helpful
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, to all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast paced environment
- Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude
- Independent worker and analytical thinker with ability to dissect and resolve complex problems
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite Financials or similar system.
- Experience with Salesforce.com or similar system
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- This position is based in our Alpharetta, GA HQ office (Avalon Shopping area)
