We are a niche business in the financial industry: we offer mortgages to real estate investors, and we resell them in specialized capital markets.
We are looking for a team player to:
- Manage accounting, month end closing and interface with auditors
- Investor relations: prepare financial reporting to investors and answer their questions
- Implement and execute controls to ensure financials, systems and cash align
- Perform root cause analysis of disconnects between ledger and subledger, and implement fixes
- Some administration tasks
Requirements
- BS degree in Finance or Accounting (MBA/Master/CPA strongly preferred)
- 5+ years’ experience includes at least 3 of the following six areas: public accounting, consulting, full ledger responsibility, software implementation (ie. ERP), lending industry, senior finance analyst in a 500-fortune company
- Ability to communicate with highly sophisticated finance professionals
While the position is intended to be hybrid remote / office, it can be organized fully remote and Part Time for the right candidate
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $35.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
