Job Overview:

As part of the Compliance team at Impact Partnership Wealth, LLC “IPW”, which is located in our Marietta, Georgia office, we are looking to hire an Advertising Review Analyst & Coordinator. This position’s primary duty is to facilitate and serve as an internal consultant on the review and approval of advertising and promotional materials, agent conduct reviews, and general regulatory and compliance-related matters for IPW. This position requires an understanding of state and federal advertising rules and regulations, as well as insurance carrier guidelines, to ensure compliance of our materials with the applicable requirements. This individual is responsible for delivering a high level of support to both internal customers and external insurance producers and investment advisors in a fast-paced and busy environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and approving producer/advisor communications, promotional materials, and sales training, as well as consumer-oriented advertising and marketing materials
  • Review and revise internally created and producer-created advertising, sales training, and seminar programs to ensure compliance with applicable state and federal rules and regulations, as well as carrier guidelines, as permitted.
  • Backend review a sample of marketing materials for adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Maintain inventory of advisor communications and marketing collateral including the tracking of submission/approval dates, sunset dates, usage, and category
  • Assist with IAR supervision and onboarding
  • Communicate effectively on the internal database/tracking system for marketing materials to show completed projects and status on outstanding projects.
  • Responsible for understanding the advisor sales process and assisting in the development of marketing collateral and programs to aid in overall effectiveness.
  • Communicate pertinent compliance and regulatory information to distribution and internal staff through periodic Compliance bulletins and other formats, including the IPW advisor portal.[DL1]
  • Prepare team analytic reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by team leads

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Ability to gain knowledge and understanding of compliance requirements and regulations
  • Advanced knowledge of insurance and investment products
  • Advanced understanding of sales and services processes as well as company policies and procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to interact and effectively communicate with all levels of management, associates, producers, carriers and vendors.
  • Strong problem-solving and researching skills.
  • Sound business judgment and strong decision-making ability
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills and ability to effectively work with other departments within the firm.
  • PC proficiency, including strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, etc.
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate complex subject matter both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage several projects simultaneously
  • Critical reading skills

Skills and Experience Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Securities industry experience
  • 2 or more years’ experience working in the financial services industry
  • Series 65 or interested in obtaining in the future
