LHH has partnered with a well-respected firm seeking to hire a Financial Analyst II. This is a hybrid work opportunity (WFM Monday and Tuesday) that is available on a temp to permanent basis. Company is located in Montvale, New Jersey and they are eager to hire!
Responsibilities:
- Monitor all public seminar revenues and expenses; investigate and remediate issues as necessary
- Prepare operating statements for each session and analyze the actual financial results for each unique course
- Provide financial perspective into the formation of the public seminar seasonal curriculum; establish the seasonal and per session budgets for approximately 90 public seminars, in collaboration with the respective Exec Ed owner and Events & Meetings Manager Utilize an understanding of our client-specific engagements to execute all aspects of invoicing
- While tracking the related receivables and following up with clients as necessary Execute Spring and Fall seasonal financial close-out activities Collaborate with our Engagement Management Coordinator (EMC) to establish all necessary engagement and internal codes and collaborate with our Deployment Leads and other team members to enable the proper use of and communication of such codes Identify, discuss with leadership, and implement necessary updates to process documentation based on changes to firmwide systems or Exec Ed policies
- Prepare data and reporting on recurring business analytics to support Exec Ed's strategy and priorities (e.g., custom learning portal, monthly catalog report). Update data visualizations in existing dashboards working with lead data analyst.
- Build and maintain relationships with colleagues (e.g., teammates, F&A, A/R, offshore F&A) to gain an understanding of business needs and required results and to meet the objectives of assigned tasks.
- Validate the financial inputs received from other groups; identify any financial reporting discrepancies; interact with firm personnel to clarify and resolve issues. Interact with clients at the direction of management.
- Exhibit an awareness of risk and independence requirements related to the business offering/workstream and seeks to initiate ideas for improving overall client service.
- Collaborate with other Exec Ed teams and exhibits an “Everyone Plays” mentality when it comes to teamwork and to ensure that communication between teams is clear and consistent.
Role: 75% financial analyst/ 25% data analyst - Minimum 3 years progressive work experience in a finance function, preferably in a large corporate environment or professional services firm Accounting, finance, and project management experience
- Advanced use of Microsoft Excel; familiarity with SharePoint and data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Possess a keen attention to detail Personal time management and project management capabilities (e.g., time, resources, scope, budget, status) Be a self-starter, team player Strong listening skills and creative problem-solving skills

Hourly Pay:
$35 – 40 per hour
