We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst with 3-5 years of experience to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting in-depth financial analysis, providing insightful recommendations, and supporting strategic decision-making to drive business growth.
This is a hybrid role; reporting to the Miami WeWork office 3 days- week
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial data and performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement, and provide actionable insights to support business growth and sustainability.
- Develop and maintain financial models, budgets, and forecasts, including scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and other analytical techniques to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate the financial impact of new initiatives, investments, and business development opportunities.
- Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
- Assist in preparing budgets, financial projections, and variance analysis to support effective financial planning and resource allocation.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements using NetSuite, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards to monitor sales volume.
- Assist in the preparation of sales budgets and other financial forecasts.
- Support the Finance team in ad-hoc financial projects and analysis, as required.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, preferably within the technology or financial services industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a Master's degree or CFA certification is a plus.
- NetSuite experience and certification highly preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and valuation techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present findings and recommendations to senior management.
- High level of proficiency with financial software and tools, such as Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Start-up company experience is preferred.
