The Finance Transformation is driving significant increases in planning, communication, collaboration, and decision making across the Finance department, within the Product Portfolio and with our technology, design, and data & analytics partners. To increase efficiency within the Product organization, we are searching for a highly qualified chief of staff to work closely with our product leadership team. The ideal candidate will have proven success as a business manager on a digital transformation, where the program spanned multiple departments, programs, and products. He/she possesses both a strong technical acumen, deep understanding of software development best practices and the communication skills to engage all parties involved, from business executives to software developers.
As a Finance Product & Transformation Business Manager in the Product Organization of Consumer and Community Banking (CCB), you will impact our productivity by overseeing program management, streamlining strategic initiatives, and communicating objectives to stakeholders & partners.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the Product & Transformation Program Management Office (PMO) which is responsible for critical processes such as: Stakeholder and program status reporting & issue management, budgeting, hiring, business case planning and vendor sourcing. Collaborating with partners as required.
- Team Management: Plan and chair bi-weekly Portfolio Leadership team meetings, assist with re-organizations and staff exercises across the product organization.
- Communication: Create transformation newsletters, plan, and execute Town Halls, drive the adoption of Microsoft teams Finance Hub, co-ordinate creation of strategic content to communicate vision and progress to stakeholders
- Lead strategic planning processes across the product organization, including product roadmap planning, planning offsite meetings and workshops and other portfolio wide initiatives.
- Improve current processes and optimize organizational procedures for efficiency and productivity (e.g., increase adoption of Jira Align, standardize use of Scrum vs Kanban, streamline status reporting)
- Assist and communicate with product owners and Transformation leads in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation.
- Serve as liaison with staff, senior leaders, and the Head of Finance Product & Transformation regarding employee well-being, project updates, proposals, and planning.
- Assist the team with new hires, including documentation and onboarding, and collaborate to address and resolve all employee concerns.
- Develop and build on relationships with all employees for increased efficiency and responsiveness of existing operations and help define new operational strategies by working with the product leadership team on special projects.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert on the Finance Transformation, handling inquiries, developing action plans, and assisting with preparation and dissemination of communications with others outside of Finance (e.g., partners in Risk, Data &Analytics, Firmwide Planning & Analysis, Marketing)
- Manage day-to-day items while attending meetings on behalf of the Head of Product and Transformation
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
The successful candidate will have a proven history in a high-paced business environment, as well as the following:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in strategy, consulting, finance and/or Business Management
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering (or related discipline)
- Demonstrated senior leadership in terms of attitude, initiative, and inclusivity.
- Experience in interacting and communicating recommendations to senior business leaders.
- Experience leading processes for with large, multi-year, multi-initiative transformational programs that involve data driven products or domains.
- Deep understanding of software development best practices (e.g., Scrum, Jira) and how to drive adoption within Product and technology teams
- Data-driven and business minded individual with an ability to make clear-headed decisions under pressure.
- Effective process manager with an ability to ensure that senior leaders time focus on a project takes place at the right place and the right time.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong mix of analytical, written and presentation skills
- Strong technical ability with Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Foundational knowledge of financial management including budgeting and forecasting
- Experience with Business applications such as Business Intelligence platforms (PowerBI, Tableau, Thoughtspot)
- MBA

Candidates must be able to physically work in our New York City, NY office 3 days a week and remotely from home 2 days per week. The specific schedule will be determined by direct management.
