SalaryOur firm is seeking an ambitious Accounting Assistant to provide support to our Financial Department managing daily accounting tasks. You will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain accuracy and transparency of the company’s finances.
Preparation of analysis, and reporting are a large part of the Accounting Assistant day-to-day work. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles and able to work comfortably with numbers and attention to details.
The objective of the Accounting Assistant to contribute to the overall operation and efficiency of the department to help the company maintain a healthy financial position. Likewise, understanding of the company’s operations and proactive advising to assist the company in its decisions making process to accomplish both short- and long-term goals.
Responsibilities:
- Post and process journal entries ensuring complete record keeping and account classification
- Maintain and update financial databases ensuring information is accurate and readily available when needed
- Maintain accounts receivables
- Maintain accounts payables with invoice and statements matching and reconciliation
- Assist with reviewing of expenses and other accounts as assigned
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly/quarterly reports
- Assist with accounting related projects
Requirements and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field
- Prior experience as an Accounting Assistant
- Through understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
- Familiarity with relevant accounting software
- Proficient with MS Office including intermediate to advanced Excel
- Good with numbers with analytical acumen
- Excellent organizational skills
- High level of attention to details
- Chinese Bilingual a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
