About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Digital Product Management Directors to lead the Tools, Platforms, and Enablers Loan Accounting & Servicing team.


In this role, you will:

  • Be the General Manager for Loan Accounting and Loan Servicing across CB, CIB, GWIM, SB and Treasury
  • Responsible for managing L3 Product Owners and teams: Loan Accounting & Servicing
  • Responsible for vision and strategy to deliver world’s best commercial lending experience that powers Wells Fargo clients’ success.
  • Build a lending ecosystem based on modern architecture with considerations for third party service providers.
  • Partner with Sales Enablement, CB & CIB business leads, Data Management, Technology, Change Management, Digital and other products and teams as appropriate to deliver straight through processing, remediate data defects and deliver required materials.
  • Deliver efficient and scalable Loan Accounting platform and processes: improve user experience to drive strategic outcomes.
  • Set product priorities, including backlogs.
  • Deliver portfolio telemetry and escalate all client impacts immediately.
  • Leverages the power of modern data to support predictive analytics for the client and financial intelligence
  • Create a culture that has the drive, urgency, and client focus to execute with speed.
  • Develop a client first, user centric, and value driven Brand.
  • Lead with executive presence, communication and influence.
  • Lead executive meetings, engage senior leaders, develop champions, navigate contentious topics and be of service.
  • Mentor and coach top talent, rising stars and employees who are willing to invest in themselves.
  • Provide Product Executive with timely, periodic updates and materials.
  • Role requires entrepreneurial mindset with ability to operate in an ambiguous environment with competing priorities.
  • Role requires experience in: leading large transformations in banking, Agile Development, Loan Accounting and Servicing.
  • Ability to work across multiple lines of business leading large scale digital initiatives and transformations

  • Outstanding analytical skills and high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proven ability to coach and grow a team of high caliber digital professionals
  • Utilize strong influence, negotiation, and communication skills with business and technical partners as well as executive stakeholders to establish/maintain achievable schedules and scope. Proven ability to operate in ambiguous environments and exhibit agility in navigating from current state to proposed solutions, including driving successful execution
  • Ability to support and promote an environment of team member engagement and diversity where everyone feels included, valued, and supported to do the work that energizes and inspires them to go farther together and achieve success
  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise investment optimization and program governance practices at Wells Fargo are strongly desired.

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions for functions with moderate to higher complexity and risk commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.
  • As an Employee Manager, you are expected to achieve success by leading yourself, your team, and the business. Specifically, you will:

  • Lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your employees feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them.
  • Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented digital professionals, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing employees, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.


Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning
  • 8+ years of digital Product Management experience in a planning environment


Desired Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of financial services industry experience, either directly within or closely associated with loan booking/accounting/servicing processes
  • 5+ years of working on large-scale initiatives, coordinating across multiple lines of business and technology organizations, preferably with experience in initiatives involving complex data conversions
  • 5+ years of Loan IQ experience
  • Strong understanding and experience of process re-engineering
  • Results-focused leader with an ability to inspire and instill a strong culture of accountability and excellence across teams and throughout the business.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proven and demonstrated leadership skills including relationship building, partnering and collaboration skills with clear ability to influence, gain buy-in and negotiate with a diverse group of key business partners/stakeholders including senior management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to senior management and ability to articulate key messages around risk, issues, customer impacts, etc.
  • Experience with Agile execution structures
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field; MBA preferred


Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

Pay Range

$207,900.00 - $431,900.00
