We are seeking an IT Business Analyst IIIto join our client's team in Madison, WI on a fully remote 12-month contract.
Required Qualifications (5+ years)
Excellent communication skills that effectively present findings to stakeholders, improve productivity, and coordinate updates with multiple stakeholders
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, including the ability to write clear and well-structured business requirements and documentation
Experience performing data discovery, analysis, modeling, and transformation
Experience with data warehouse analysis and specification development (e.g. Oracle DB, Snowflake and discovery/governance platforms, MS Purview, or equivalent)
Preferred Qualifications
Can create reports, dashboards and visualizations to help others understand business performance
Understanding of document/file and knowledge management
Understanding of University operations related to research, teaching and learning, outreach and administration. Examples of functional work group: data warehouse teams, other Business Analysts, services teams who are doing data integrations.
Experience working with data and software engineers.
Ability to handle multiple projects and work-streams simultaneously
Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple projects independently to meet deadlines and complete tasks in an accurate manner
Education
Bachelor's Degree - Preferred Minimum
