Finance Clerk

Salary Range: NE6 - $19.13 - $25.87

Hiring Range: $19.13 - $22.50 per hour DOQ

Classification: Non-Exempt

Status: Part Time

Location: Apex Building / 495 Apex Valley Road Black Hawk, CO

Primary Responsibility:

• Process payroll on a modern payroll system
• Ensure that all local, state and federal rules are followed
• Work with HR to ensure there are no gaps within the payroll process
• Provide backup to Accounts Payable as needed
• Provide backup to staff accountant as needed with simple reports or journal entries
• Assist with account reconciliations

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

• Experience with modern payroll software
• Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and financial transactions
• Knowledge of MS Office
• Attention to detail
• Organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Reliability and strong work ethics
• Ability to solve problems
• High school diploma or equivalent
