Job Description:
Response Alert LLC, established in 1976, is a family owned medical alert company headquartered in Baltimore, MD. Our company is growing and servicing clients in the entire state of Maryland and other states. We are seeking a full-time Field Service technician to service our BALTIMORE REGION clients. This area mainly consists of Baltimore County and City, Howard, Anne Arundel, Harford Counties, Metro DC Area, and occasionally some further distances.
- This position consists on average of approximately 20-30 hours of work per week. Hours may vary based on appointment volume.
- The work involves installing, servicing and picking up medical alert units in the client's home. No experience necessary. You will receive paid training with a technician.
- Must be willing to travel out of state occasionally to train new technicians. All expenses paid.
- Must be friendly and patient with seniors and persons with disabilities.
- On call to receive and return emergency equipment service pages in the evenings and weekends. You will not be receiving emergency medical alarms.
- Install, configure, and maintain personal emergency response systems at clients' homes.
- Provide technical support to clients and address any issues or concerns related to PERS devices.
Requirements:
- Applicant should preferably live within 30 minutes of Baltimore City.
- Our client service hours are normally between 9AM to 5PM, Monday through Thursday and 9AM to 4PM on Fridays. Depending on client availability restrictions, there may be occasional need to go beyond those hours of operation. Appointments are scheduled within that time frame, but this is not a full time position.
- Must have a car to travel to Field Service locations as posted above in the job description and must be open to traveling during high volume traffic times.
- Must be open to occasionally traveling up to 2-3 hours round trip for an appointment
- You will need to use your own car for driving. The company will reimburse for mileage costs.
