Food Processing Facility Sanitation Worker

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Sanitation Worker to join our team. As a Sanitation Worker, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in our facility. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to upholding food safety regulations.

Duties:
- Sanitate and clean various areas of the facility, including production lines, equipment, and common areas
- Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Perform industrial cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing floors
- Clean and sanitize Food Processing equipment and machinery
- Dispose of waste and recyclable materials properly
- Assist with the organization and inventory of cleaning supplies
- Adhere to safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and orderly work environment

Requirements:
- Previous experience in sanitation or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of food production or Food Processing environments is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Familiarity with warehouse or custodial work is beneficial
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work different shifts as needed
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing sanitation protocols

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
