Dispatch services by performing the following duties.
What You'll Do
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Receive information from service processors for services needed
- Schedule appropriate service tech
- Coordinate and schedule large jobs requiring more than one tech
- Review each tech’s open list, focusing on older services and priority
- Confirm that parts are ordered or if that job site needs inspection
- Map out locations
- Call the contacts on the service to advise them of the availability dates for service
- Log in all services that are scheduled on the Dispatch Log
- Log all services on each individual tech’s calendar created in Outlook
- Review the list of services for the Tuesday morning meeting
- Contact techs as needed regarding outcome, orders and site issues
- Update the distributors that request it
- File reschedules and reopen services as needed due to incorrect parts, no contacts, etc
- Keep track of tech’s time off and redirected time (due to large jobs)
- Request parts to be ordered and/or services to be closed
- Balance tech’s time when crossing over to other areas and techs that need help

- Usual office environment with frequent sitting, walking, and standing.

Ability to travel occasionally domestically.
