Currently looking to add to our TEAM a Spanish/English Bilingual Dispatcher who communicates back and forth with SW Drivers to assist with problem resolution while on route for residential, commercial and roll-off lines of business. Interacts with Customers, Sales, Operational Staff, SW Customer Service Agents, Mechanics. Uses Software to manage same ticket routing as well as preparing routes for the next day.

Skills and Qualifications
Previous Dispatching experience
Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word)
Ability to multi-task and quickly navigate multiple programs and systems in a fast-paced work environment
Must be able to communicate professionally and effectively via email, telephone and 2-way radio with excellent organizational skills
- This job involves primarily sedentary work, requiring sitting most of the time with some standing/walking. The work may involve lifting up to 20 pounds at times.
Expectations
Dispatches drivers to call as calls are received – using information on customer’s needs, drivers location and loads, and daily factors to balance cost and customer satisfaction
Collaborates closely with Job Sites and Service Departments to optimize routes based on Customer Needs
Determines the daily driver staffing need to provide the best mix of responsiveness and productivity
Manages and assigns routes and service tickets to drivers
Initiates communication to customers while drivers are on location/on-site, to resolve pick-ups or any other issues delaying the service
Resolves and Troubleshoots potential delivery or pick-up issues to prevent delays
Ensures same-day service on missed pick-ups by managing the routes and tracking driver movement in the field
