Job Description
SUMMARY:
The Service Coordinator position is a vital link between the field service technicians and our customers. This position is responsible for maintaining clear and effective communication that helps establish, grow and maintain our customer base.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Professionally receive service calls from customers and create work orders in our software system.
- Prioritize service calls with the correct technician and dispatch appropriately.
- Thoroughly communicate with the customer and technician and keep both up to date with current situation.
- Coordinate and schedule service agreement inspections and ensure timely completion.
- Maintain dispatch board and tracking spreadsheets daily.
- Order and track parts needed and schedule accordingly.
- Manage unfinished work orders and drive them to completion.
- Communicate issues with Service Department Manager and Service Supervisors.
- Adhere to Service Department SOP’s at all times.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
- Two to Five years’ Service Department and/or office experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly competent with mobile, desktop and other IOS and Windows bases operating systems.
- Possess excellent organization skills and be a Team Player.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Able to hear and speak clearly with professionalism.
Able to walk, stand, sit, stoop, kneel and climb stairs as needed to complete your duties.
Normal vision range (with or without corrective eyewear); ability to see color and distinguish letters, numbers and symbols 100% of the time.
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
Able to provide self with a safe work environment while working with various software and hardware equipment.
Understand safety parameters surrounding an office or warehouse environment.
