Under the direction of the Director, Account Management and determined by the needs of the department, the incumbent will work as a Field Account Manager to support and oversee in full or in part(s) one or more accounts for retention and growth – this includes site visits, maintaining service needs and coordinating account quarterly business reviews.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Educate, instruct, upsell all assigned and newly generated accounts in Field Account Manager’s territory.
- Build and ensure long-term customer relationships.
- Act as a liaison between the client and Simple Laboratories’ operations team for client needs
- Provide ongoing customer support/services and problem resolution as needed through email, phone calls and site visits.
- Resolve customer related issues and escalations timely.
- Monitor supply deliveries to ensure supply fulfillment in a timely manner while effectively managing the account needs.
- Ensure customer retention by providing superior customer service
- In-service current clients on new test offerings
- Work closely with business development team to grow book of business
- Continuously provide educational material to the respective account
- Train clients to use our online portal to request supplies or Adhoc pick up requests.
- Meet and exceed monthly retention goals on a regular basis

Minimum Qualifications (knowledge, skills, and abilities):
Complexity of Work - Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work unsupervised or with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a rapid paced environment and take appropriate action with client concerns and escalations.
Preferred/Required Experience - Experience in a healthcare industry is a plus with proven success in managing a book of business. Previous sales experience or account management is preferred. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Ability to travel as needed to client sites.
Physical Requirements - Sitting for long periods of time and driving to client site visits
