We pride ourselves on the beauty and absolute quality of our products, and are now looking to strengthen our team by recruiting a Business Sales Account Manager, reporting directly to the CEO.

The Role
This is a varied position that will see you executing the strategic direction for all of our B2B Sales / Business Account Management / Business Development activities. These are your key responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and grow the B2B client base and sales pipeline to meet or exceed sales targets, focusing on building relationships and facilitating frictionless service
- Draw on industry trends and professional networks to identify opportunities and creative ideas to develop and execute a strategic business plan and sales strategy to drive growth.
- Promote II products and services to prospective and existing Business to Business clients through a variety of outreach opportunities to include telephone contacts, office and site visits, in-store events, and tradeshows.
- Partner with the customer support team, logistics and corporate office as needed to ensure best-in-class service is being provided.
- Conduct continuous follow-up on outstanding quotes, while pursuing new business.
- Train and educate showroom teams on driving B2B through selling and outreach best practices.
- Help coordinate and support stores for in-store event planning.
- Assist with complex orders including processing of wire transfers/split tender, consolidation of large orders and help expedite Trade Member registration as necessary.
The Person
- A methodical and process-driven mentality; this is an essential part of how we work at II
- Minimum 3 years home furnishing or interior design background, including in store retail sales experience.
- A proven track record of driving meaningful sales growth.
- An established book of business within the Business-to-Business industry with a range of relevant industry connections.
- A passion for furniture and interior design
- The ability to build relationships -- both with cross-functional internal partners and external.
- Sharp negotiation skills, commercial acumen and savviness.
- The ability to effectively manage concurrent and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent proactive, solution-oriented, problem-solving skills.
- Some travel required - up to 20% to visit stores, clients, trade shows.
- It is anticipated that the role, after a training period, would involve a mix of in showroom and remote working.
- Prior experience in business-to-Business Sales and/or retail preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a variety of internal and external customers/clients/business partners and build strong relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
- Willingness to be hands-on to get tasks completed without a team, and happy to work in a small, lean and process-driven organisation
