Job description

Chevo Consulting is currently seeking Tier I, and II HelpDesk Technicians to support our team. These positions will provide the opportunity for significant client interaction by learning the client’s business and to become a trusted advisor. Ideal candidates will demonstrate versatility in understanding and performing work related to providing technical support for end users services in the resolution of user-generated support requests. These positions are within a hybrid work environment, with the client site being located in Washington, DC metro area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Duties will include configuration, troubleshooting, training, and remote support for custom applications.
  • This is a full-time salaried position that will require occasional off hours support.
  • Provide on-site and remote support following standard operating procedures
  • Provide support to team on relevant products, tools, and technologies
  • Serve as an escalation for Help Desk support
  • Create new technical support documentation and ensure knowledge articles and guidance for the User Support community are current, complete, and organized

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong ability to configure applications, set up user accounts, set up forms; access/privileges
  • 3+ Years of experience resolving tickets at the Tier 1 or Tier 2 level
  • 3+ Years of information systems work experience
  • Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to pass client security clearance requirements

Desired Qualifications:

  • Possess a strong desire to grow professionally.
  • Prior experience supporting IRS IT programs
  • Active IRS High Risk MBI clearance is a plus
