Job Title: Cyber Security Specialist

Location: Onsite – Washington, DC

Duration: 2 Years + 2 Option year

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience providing cybersecurity operations or consulting support.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and best practices.
• Experience with security assessment tools and methodologies.
• Knowledge of network security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint security solutions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), or CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) are preferred.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $79,377.06 - $175,604.99 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• security assessment: 5 years (Preferred)
• Cybersecurity: 6 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• CEH (Required)
• CompTIA Security+ (Required)

Security clearance:

• Top Secret (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Washington, DC 20220 (Required)
