A Family Assistant is the lifeline for many busy professionals and families.
This position helps with the day-to-day tasks of managing a household to lighten the mental load for our clients. Depending on your client, your tasks can vary greatly. However, here are some requests:
- Tidy (give the client that "hotel feel")
- Errands
- Keep supplies stocked
- Laundry
- Organization
- Clean-up in the Kitchen (dishwasher, wipe counters, empty trash, clean up spills)
- Meal Prep/Planning
- Schedule and/or Meet Household Vendors
- Process Mail
- Pet walking/Sitting/House Sitting
- Gift Shopping
- Plant Maintenance

Currently seeking assistants who;
- Reside in/or willingly to commute reguarly to Downtown Charleston, Mount Pleasant, and/or Daniels Island.
- Desire 10-20 hours per week (no full-time roles available at this time)
- Option to add hours as new clients match your skillset.
**Depending on your admin and organizational skills, you may later qualify as a Personal or Organizing Assistant, Family Manager, Supervisor, or Organizer. **

Requirements
- Comfortable with technology or willing to learn - You will have to use online software to track hours and tasks
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or running your own household with high standards.
- Laundry and folding nicely- you must know the basics or be willing to improve your skills.
- Learn company, etiquette, expectations overview, and software introduction
- If selected, you must submit and pass background and reference checks.
- Some clients will require FBI background and drug tests.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the US
- Work history and contact information
- If travel is required, you must have a reliable automobile, a valid driver's license, and proof of current auto insurance.
