Job Description
Title:Facilities Technician - Redwood
Reports to: Operations Manager
Scope: Responsible for supporting the Redwood City shop location with general building cleanliness and maintenance. Will provide support Parts and Service department by delivering parts and equipment to other NorCal locations.
Salary Range: $25-$28 per hour

Individual pay is determined by additional factors including job related skills, experience, applicable education or training and other relevant factors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned, as needed:
- Clean building and shop floors by sweeping and using floor scrubber
- Gather and empty trash
- Make sure restrooms and employee lounges are stocked with soap, paper and other needed supplies
- Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks and forklifts (if certified)
- Notify manager concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building
- Clean and disinfect heavily used surfaces (door handles, bathroom fixtures and other shared equipment) on a fixed schedule
- Assist in keeping the shop clean, including cleaning surfaces, scrubbing floor, adding needed fluids and supplies
- Assemble various equipment (desks, cabinets, chair, etc..)
- Drive vehicles to distribute parts/equipment to the other Northern California locations. Pick-up needed tools, parts, equipment and materials per the request of managers
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Customer Service background is preferred
- Experience in similar environments or job duties is ideal
- Current driver’s license is required

- Be able to multi-task and work independently
- Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the company, its customers and vendors
- Ability to interpret policies and procedures and follow directions
- Willingness to be flexible and productive
- Ability to speak, read and comprehend the English language
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time (80-100% of shift)
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift
- Ability to work in and outdoors for extended periods of time
