JOB SUMMARY:
The Technician/Monitor is under the direct supervision of the Lead Technician. The Monitor Job duties include, but are not limited to providing client supervision, monitor the facility and others duties as assigned.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Good supervisory and communication skills.
- Ensure the health and safety of all residents.
- Direct clients to their daily activities in accordance to the daily schedule.
- Conduct facility walk-rounds, including client's rooms, residential quarters and facility surroundings.
- Ability to communicate in person, on the phone, via email and/or over the internet during the daily client and staff interaction.
- Responsible for detailed and accurate documentation.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Valid California Driver's License.
- First Aid Certified within 30 days of employment.
- CPR Certified within 30 days of employment.
- Experienced in the filed of alcohol and drug treatment.
- Knowledge of self-help groups i.e., (AA, NA, CA, etc.).
- Knowledge of community resources for referrals.
- If recovering from substance abuse, must have at least two-years of continuous sobriety.
- All staff must undergo random drug screening.
KNOWLEDGE:
- Able to perform duties independently in accordance with established and general policies and procedures.
- Responsible for sound judgement, thoroughness and competence.
- Efficient use of of Resources.
Job Type: Part-time
