Job Description
- As we grow our company, we are actively adding a skilled Facilities Managerto our growing Operations team, reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations.
- The Facilities Manager plays an integral role in ensuring that Spark Car Wash maintains the best-in-class car wash facilities through executing a comprehensive maintenance and repairs program.
- This program allows us to better protect our equipment, ensure the safety of our team members, and ultimately wash a cleaner car.
- The Facilities Manager role will be initially regionally focused on serving our growing store count in Northern New Jersey and New York.
- Maintenance Checklist Audits: ensuring General Managers and teams are properly completing the daily, weekly, monthly maintenance checklists
- Maintenance Schedules / Processes: continuing to update proper procedures for all equipment
- Equipment Repairs: Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, plumbing, and pneumatic systems to diagnose and repair issues
- Optimizing Safety: Maintains and improves safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Inventory Tracking: Keep track of inventory levels for equipment and key components
- Vendor Management: Working with key third parties to procure and utilize necessary equipment components
- Installation Support: On an as needed basis working with the Real Estate Department, General Contractor, and Operations team to coordinate equipment delivery
- Reporting: Ensuring proper tracking and documentation of any downtime and repairs
- Special Projects: Working with the Operations team members on additionally assigned duties
- High school diploma / GED preferred
- Understanding and/or willingness to learn complex electrical, mechanical, plumbing, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Structured troubleshooting process
- Strong attention to detail
- Proactive mindset to identify problems and opportunities to seek solutions
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision
- Work collaboratively with other Spark team members and external vendors
- Flexible schedule to conduct repairs on an as needed basis
- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions both indoors and outdoors
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- A valid drivers license and ability to travel throughout NJ, NY, and/or PA
