SalaryThis key manager directs the daily activities and related functions of the hospital Maintenance Department. The manager has overall responsibility for the day to day and long- term maintenance and upkeep of hospital and clinic buildings and all grounds. The manager also assists in the planning functions and construction projects with the Director of Facilities Management.
Manager's key roles will include:
Oversight of the electronic work order and database system.
Manage and further develop preventative maintenance systems for all equipment throughout the hospital. This will include inventories,
etc., to accomplish this task.
Manage and develop offsite building and grounds maintenance program.
Demonstrates a successful track record of fiscal responsibility and the ability to meet aggressive project timelines.
Manages maintenance staff.
Minimum Education:
Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in related field of study is preferred.
Minimum Experience:
3-5 years experience in plant operations in an acute care or similar operation.
2-3 years experience in a supervisory or management capacity in a maintenance related position.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Experience in maintenance, installation, and construction of equipment.
Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, etc., as well as various mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
Knowledge in building codes and OSHA safety regulations and programs.

Pay: $74,000.00 - $101,000.00 per year
