Duties include, but not limited to:
- Supervise and manage the overall maintenance and operation of facilities
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and services
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and expenses
- Fabricate or repair equipment as needed
- Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement
- Assist Grounds Manager in the upkeep of the property
- Assist in Events set up and take down
- Coordinate with the Director of Horticulture to blend the needs of the garden and maintenance
- Serves as a member of the Snow and Emergency Response Team
- Anticipate 40 hours per week; necessary ability to work weekends on a rotating schedule
- Property management experience a plus
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of maintenance management principles and practices
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Solid understanding of mechanical systems and equipment
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
