Essential Functions:
- Responsible for maintaining the Property Operations functions in the absence of the VP of Engineering.
- Directs, trains, and supervises staff in accordance with Property Operations and the property's policies and procedures.
- Resolves guest's problems and manages all guest requests.
- Identifies problems, initiates service orders, accomplishes assigned service orders and does all necessary repairs.
- Manages preventative maintenance with the use of a computer maintenance management system.
- Works with contractors and vendors to ensure the best price and quality of work performed.
- Complete the duty rounds checklists and correct any problems noted.
- Responsible for correct use of the office equipment, the BAS system and Life Safety Systems (training provided).
Position Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years' experience as an Engineering supervisor or manager in the hospitality industry.
- Software - Email, purchasing, scheduling, invoice processing, MS Suite (Word, Excel, etc.), Computer Maintenance Management System.
- Certified pool operator preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing blueprints.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to read wire and schematic diagrams.
- Ability to properly use a multimeter.
