Facilities Maintenance

Responsible for overall maintenance and functionality of building(s), grounds, and capital equipment at all locations. This includes preventative maintenance, scheduled services, break fix and cleaning.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

· Complete all facility and maintenance tasks.

· Complete projects and equipment upgrades by reading and comprehending electrical/mechanical schematics, blueprints, and/or operation manuals.

· Coordinate with outside vendors and inside personnel when necessary.

· Ensure capital assets, packaging equipment and facilities are in good working order.

· Ensure spill containment policies are being followed.

· Interacting regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations.

· Document and update maintenance instructions.

· Document and update Facility, Equipment and Pump Stand Parts Lists. This includes an understanding of chemical packaging equipment, such as powered conveyors, rotating equipment, chemical filling lances, HMI systems, motors and liquid pumps.

· Ensure Facility, Equipment and Pump Stand parts are being inventoried properly.

· Operating forklifts, loaders, scissor lifts, and aerial lifts.

· Documenting completed work and the conditions found, utilizing maintenance management software.

· Understanding and adhering to all safety policies and procedures.

· Provides backup help to production and/or shipping departments as needed.

· Maintain a clean and safe workspace.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma, GED, or technical school; and 2 - 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
