Duties and Responsibilities
- Site Maintenance – Performs preventative maintenance and general repair on sites occupied by Wingspan Life Resources.
- Respond to maintenance work orders in a timely and efficient manner.
- Procure supplies and materials to carry out maintenance repairs, adhering to specific cost constraints and department policy.
- Routinely and effectively communicates with the Supervisor (both verbally and written) regarding project and repair status.
- Perform preventative maintenance at sites assigned, for example: gutter cleaning, checking down spouts, inspect furnace and AC for servicing needs, change filters, etc.
- Perform simple carpentry, electrical and plumbing repairs and other miscellaneous repairs at sites assigned, for example fixing screens, cracked windows, replacing locks, toilet repairs, replacing floors, kitchen cabinets, move furniture, assist with mowing and plowing as needed, paint, etc.
- Remain current in safety regulations, building codes, and agency policies.
- High School diploma.
- 3 years in construction or Facilities Maintenance field, minor carpentry, plumbing and minor electrical repairs.
- Physical Requirement – must be able to climb and work safely from ladders, shovel snow and lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Completion of Tech-School or Building Trades
- Apprenticeship
