Job Description
The Dahill Group is pleased to be assisting our well-respected and well-established Texas E&P Company in search of an outstanding Facilities Engineer to join its exceptional team. This position will be responsible for aspects of facility and pipeline engineering/design on facilities that serve company operated production. This position is also responsible for regulatory testing/filings related to company operated gathering systems and compressors. Prepares AFEs for new infrastructure as well as other projects on existing facilities. The Facilities Engineer will work closely with Facilities Engineering Manager and Field Construction Superintendent in overseeing the construction of new facilities, providing all drawings required for construction. The position interacts with other departments as needed to achieve overall project success and will support midstream budget preparation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Designs and oversees installation of new facility and pipeline construction and modifications.
Designs and oversees new and existing compression/station modifications.
Bids out the major components on new construction projects as well as system modification projects.
Aids in overseeing Haynesville & unit owned gathering systems.
Works with field personnel on system changes, including design & drawings on system modifications & working with land dept & surveyors to ensure proper documentation
Aids in the field midstream operations budget preparation.
Generates & keeps records of drawings for pipelines.
Conducts monthly System balance review.
Oversees annual RRC filings on gathering systems, including T4s.
Oversees annual DOT filings with PHMSA.
Prepares and distributes emergency procedures for compressor stations & pipelines.
Oversees emissions testing and reporting on company owned facilities, engaging outside consultants when necessary.
Represents the company during regulatory audits related to midstream facilities.
Qualifications:
BS Engineering or higher
Minimum 6 years of experience is preferred.
Must have hands on experience in facility construction operations.
A thorough knowledge of the properties of hydrocarbon gasses and the impact of those properties on design and operation of production facilities is required.
Skilled in drafting, multi-phase flow in piping, vessel and compressor sizing and fluid flow in piping
Must be proficient with all software required to carry out their engineering duties and responsibilities.
Must be an effective communicator, both written and orally. The ability to speak effectively in front of groups and make presentations to superiors and peers is required.
This position will be located in Longview, Texas. Relocation package offered.

Above Market Salary with Annual Bonus - participation target 25% with a potential up to 2 times the target
